This journey takes you through some of the most amazing National Parks and diverse countrysides of Central Africa. Stop en route to absorb the energy from the vibrant villages with their friendly people.
Trek through untouched virgin forests and hear the occasional scream of wild chimpanzee or catch a glimpse of the breathtaking snow capped Rwenzori mountain peaks. Feel your heart thumping in your throat when kneeling down in front of a Silverback and his family. Though gentle giants, Mountain Gorillas are the largest and one of the most endangered primates on earth.
Hear the roaring thunder of Murchison Falls and the mighty Nile River. See the sunrise over the savannah, famous for buffalos, large predators and prolific birdlife. Let Uganda fill your senses and create memories to kindle for a lifetime. Uganda is truly the Pearl of Africa.


Day 1 Entebbe - Kampala
You will be welcomed by your guide on arrival at Entebbe airport. Transfer to your hotel in Kampala. B&B.

Day 2 Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you head North through a countryside scenery of many small villages and lush green forests. Look out for the traditional Large Horned cattle and craft shops along the way. Once inside the Park, the road will meander to the top of Murchison’s Falls which displays its true power generated by a 7m wide cataract where water plunges down spectacular cascades. A picnic lunch will be available at the falls.
Dinner at the lodge. Full board.

Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park
An early morning game drive will take you North along the Nile River. This area is renowned for lions, giraffes, elephants, antelopes and a big variety of birdlife. After lunch, a boat will take you to the feet of the Falls – an awesome sight!

Day 4 Kibale Forest – Fort Portal
Drive down in a southwesterly direction around the eastern shore of Lake Albert to Kibale forest. Drive to Fort Portal, a small town at the feet of Rwenzori mountains best known as “The Mountains of the Moon”. Arrive at the lodge in the evening. You can have a strolll to the craters.

Day 5 & 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park
Before breakfast, you could have a good photo opportunity of some snow capped mountain peaks, then after go for a half day walking safari. Follow your guide on foot searching for primates in the treetops. Kibale is famous for its Black and White Clobus Monkeys, Red-Tailed Monkeys, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys and Wild Chimpanzees.
After lunch drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This Park is situated in the Western Rift Valley and covers 2500 km˛ across lakes, savannah and ancient impact craters. Therefore creating a wide variety of different habitats and an amazingly diverse ecosystem. Great numbers of Uganda Kob and Cape Buffalo dot the grassland as far as the eye can see. Your lodge is set high up on the banks of the Kazinga Channel that joins both Lakes Edward and George. Queen Elisabeth National Park is a birdwatchers paradise. 611 different bird species has recently been recorded here - the highest number for any National Parks in the world! Daily activities include a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and a game drive accompanied by an expert guide.

Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early game drive and breakfast, you will make your way to the Bwindi Impenetrable forest. Conditions permitting, you will travel along the Ishasa road, home of the tree-climbing lion. Picnic lunch en route.
Arrive in the late afternoon to your chalet in Bwindi.
Full board, drink included. All activities around the lodge included.

Day 8 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is dedicated to the gorillas tracking. Sometimes the tracking can be strenuous; therefore a minimum of fitness is requested.
You will be told by your guide about rules you should stick to and how you should behave in the presence of the Gorillas.

Bwindi forest hosts also more than 360 species of birds and 200 species of butterflies. About 324 tree species have been recorded here, ten of which occur nowhere else in Uganda.
A complimentary massage is offered.

Day 9 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala
Departure after breakfast towards Kampala. Stop en route and visit the ceremonial Drum Market. Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon.
